Hallo an alle Matze Ress hat gerade auf der Facebook Bayern Pétanque Seite gepostet, dass das morgige Turnier (Vatertagstriplette) in Augsburg nicht am gewohnten Platz stattfindet (vor der Sporthalle), sondern am Prinz Karl Palais. Das ist nicht weit weg vom gewohnten Platz. Hier seine Info zum Parken und Spielen: Parken ist möglich am Straßenrand in der Von-der-Tann-Straße und in der Schertlinstraße desweiteren von der Von-der-Tann-Straße links abgebogen in den Prinz Karl Weg! Außerdem auf dem Tengelmann Parkplatz in der Scherlinstraße. Das Turnier findet dann in der Parkanlage statt. Bis denne Uli

Teil 2: Mike Pegg 22. April 13:58 UMPIRES Exam The CEP Board are putting into place an exam leading to a diploma for umpires, this is to bring us in line with the FIPJP plans for umpires. The first of the exams, which will be held every other year, will take place this year at the European Championship for Men in Rome. It will be necessary for a candidate to take and pass the CEP exam before they can move on to take the International (FIPJP) exam. The FIPJP have an age limit of 60 years and a maximum number of 2 candidates per year/Federation. The CEP will have the same max number but the max age will be 50 years. More details of the umpires exam will be made available soon.

Wissenswertes vom CEP zur Info: Mike Pegg 22. April 13:57 ALCOHOL The CEP Board was presented with a proposal to introduce a ban on alcohol for the duration of our Championships but after discussion is was agreed that this would be very difficult to police. Instead the CEP is introducing random alcohol testing at all our events similar to the tests run by the FIPJP at the World Championship. The first of these alcohol tests will take place at the Mens European Championship in Rome where individuals will be randomly chosen, this includes players and coaches. Please note anyone found to have excess alcohol in their system will not be able to participate in the Championship until they pass a further test.
